So Ends Another Day of College

So it's early friday morning, meaning I just got back from Anita's house about a half hour ago. All in all a good day. I somehow made it to her house late Wednesday night then to college in Santa Monica and then back to her house on just $10 of gas.... though that's kicking me back in the ass now since I'm right near the E mark. I'll get through though enough to make it to work tomorrow. And Anita let me borrow $20 to come visit her again this weekend.

As it pertains to college I've ended up having to drop all but my English class. Amazingly my English teacher isn't bent on failing me from my 5 absences. Though neither was my Perspective class, however I felt that even if I did make up all the work in my Perspective class and all my absences that at the end of it I still wouldn't have learned anything. I mean I've basically missed 5 days of lectures for every class. During the first few weeks I had problems with gathering the money for gas to get there, now I have a job and my next problem was the car accident which gave me even more abscences from a doctors orders and lack of a car. Regardless though of ALL those abscences and missing work, "I" seem to have more of the essays done in my entire class after turning in 3 essays Thursday and reading 3 poems. I have 2 more Essays to complete and I would be caught up with everything in the class. Either I'm doing really good, or my peers are just ungodly slow. I'm thinking the latter, it seems to me that most of them just don't care and regard the class as irrelevant.

Another thing that surprised me today was that for the first time in a long time on my way home from Anita's I never got sleepy, not even heavy eyed. I'm not sure what that means, I didn't get much sleep over at Anita's in all truth to really have had a good rest, and I left there at a little after midnight. Even now I'm only slightly tired. I don't know what to attribute this to, maybe I'm less stressed since seeing how good I am in standing for my classes?.... Who knows....

I do know that I'm going to go ahead and head to bed now as episode 33 of Bleach continues downloading. I do have working the morning at 9. I'll get around to actually retelling the car accident when I get time....
