Long walks on the side walk, and New shoes...

While it's not uncommon for me to have walked far distances (I once walked back from my drop off bus stop 13 miles back to my Tech school on night at 12 am) today I fucking hated it.

For the past few days me and a few guys that are going to the Anime Expo have been trying to get together to plan things and discuss anything related to food or anything of the like (Alcohol?). But it seemed all week long that not enough people were going to be able to get together to it to be a go. Well today Turner calls me and tells "hey, we're going so you need to get down here" which is actually 24 miles away from where I live. So usually I have to get a ride to the bus stop and then take the bus down to his house and then walk about 50 feet to his house. (I live like 10 miles away from the actual town so the city buses don't even come out to where I live, but it saves on gas to take the bus halfway there). So I take a quick 5 minute shower, put on my good new shoes and leave the house with my hair stil wet.

BUT today for whatever reason the buses were on detour and so instead of having to walk 50 feet it was looking like I was going to have to walk 2 miles. So I just start walking down to Joe's which is basically just southwest of where I was by 2-3 miles. I called up Joe after walking 1/8 of a mile and tell him that I'll be another 30 minutes or so due to the detour and for him to tell me where the hell I am. He tells me "Do you see a school?" and I say "Well no.." "Oh, well then I have no idea where you are, just head to the main street and come to my house" So I do. Well apparently the school was back behind me I just couldn't see it anymore since I had walked an 1/8 of a mile already. But anyways I make it to Joe's despite it being Rediculously hot and expected to sit down for a bit. Nope Joe tells me I can't stay there long because his mom is going to be back soon and she might get mad if I'm there without him having asked. So now we're going to Kevins as was originally planned.

Well we start heading back EXACTLY the way I came with a slight change in it to walk an extra mile to pick up some McDonalds. Well we walk back to Kevin's apartment and I notice that his apartment complex is right across the FRIGGEN street where I got off the bus!!! And Remember I'm in Brand NEW shoes.... So pretty much I walked 2 miles to Joe's only to walk back exactly the way I came.
So I turn to Joe and say "Why the Hell did I walk all the way down to your house if I was RIGHT here??"
he goes "Well I asked you if you saw a school" *pointing at the school behind the apartments that would have been in my way from me seeing due to how far I had already walked"
So that got me pretty pissed off...

Nothing really exciting happened at Kevins, we talked about the convention a little bit, a few thing about our gaian flash series we plan to do and played some Soul Caliber 2.

Well had to leave because apparently Kevins mother objected to us having had Air Soft guns with us (Kevin is 19 people). So I left with Joe back the way we came down the street for a mile and we split way at the main street and I walked an extra 3/4 of a mile to the bus stop.

Got on the bus only to realize it's the last bus and not going all the way back to where I need it to and stopping at the mall. So now I have to somehow call in a ride to the mall (which is 17 miles away from my house or so) but it was chill since by an act of Crazyness Abbot was there in the parking lot so we just talked till my ride got there... and that's it folks.

I did so much walking in those new shoes that they caused a blister on my right heel that popped when I reached the mall and caused me much pain. And my hips are sore beyond all reason from not having sat down enough and not having had proper compfort support from my shoes. Right now it still hurts to move my legs...........
